In case you missed it… there was a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT at the Community Collaborative & Industry Luncheon: Business Oregon intends to award $2 million to support industrial land readiness in Coburg, Oregon, in lead up to the eventual creation of 1,200 new jobs for the region.
Oregon faces a shortage of shovel-ready, buildable land for new companies to establish themselves. The successful $2 million funding application, co-authored by Collaborative EDO, demonstrates the power of collaboration and the shared success achievable through a regional approach to economic development. This strategy is proving beneficial for the City of Coburg and all of Lane County.
